We are pleased to announce that Ed Bonner has been appointed Musical Director of Surrey Heath Singers.

Ed studied Music at Cambridge University and subsequently gained a Masters degree in singing from TrinityLaban. Since then he has sung professionally in church choirs, opera choruses and as a session singer as well as teaching singing and the piano alongside performing.

Ed began directing choirs at music college where he directed the Early Music Ensemble and has subsequently held positions as a chorus master for The Jubilate Singers (West Wickham), as Director of Music of St Mary’s Church Choir (Leigh), and as a workshop leader for the community choir Common and Kind.

Also a qualified Music teacher, Ed has enjoyed stints as Junior School Music Coordinator at Queen’s Gate School and as a visiting singing teacher at Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls.
