Notes
In the first track, the bar of the soprano intro (bar 22) is preceded by 4 bars of accompaniment. The 6 bars of accompaniment from bar 47 are included.
The second track commences with the final phrase of the soprano solo (singing la-la-la) before the altos come in at bar 35. After bar 47 there is a two bar silent break before the track continues with the last phrase of the soprano solo, prior to the altos’ entry at bar 82. The final 4 bars of accompaniment are included.
The third track commences in with 4 bars of accompaniment before the choir enters. After bar 63 there is a two bar silent break before the track continues with the last phrase of the soprano solo (again singing la-la-la), prior to the tenors’ entry at bar 77. The 8 bars of accompaniment after bar 101 are included in full. After bar 128 again there is a two bar silent break before the track continues with the last phrase of the soprano solo (again singing la-la-la), prior to the altos’ entry at bar 142.
Throughout the voices have been given a staccato setting, which sounds a little stilted, but is a reminder that Andy wants words to be separated.
