Autumn Concert: Student becomes Master

Contrary to the popular myth, Antonio Salieri wasn’t responsible for Mozarts death. He was, however, responsible for talent-spotting the seven year old Franz Schubert, to whom he taught music theory and composition. This concert juxtaposes works be both of them, including Salieri’s Mass in D and Schubert’s Mass in G.
